Description
Like the father whose son had been possessed, Sometimes I’ve a sense of helplessness. When my faith is smaller than I need, and there’s no hope I see, then like that father’s plea, I cry to Jesus.
(C) Lord I believe: Help my unbelief! Give mercy and give grace; Give me the help I need, for I believe. Help my unbelief!
There are times when I don’t follow through, Even though I know what’s best to do. Looking back I grieve at my mistakes and seek to not create another such mistake, And cry to Jesus:
Peter walked on water by His grace, Yet he failed by looking at the waves. Jesus said, “Oh, ye of little faith,” yet took his had to save. That love I also crave, And cry to Jesus.
